“Just lift, place, and slide!” The advertisements for the EZ Moves furniture moving system claim that using this product gives you ten times your natural strength.  The product package includes a furniture lifter and an assortment of slides for use on hardwood, tile, or carpet.

EZ Moves Furniture Moving System works on the premise that it is easier to scoot a piece of furniture, a large appliance, or a heavy object than it is to simply lift and carry it. The manufacturers are correct.  They simply created a product that will make it easier for you to slide your furniture across the floor.

It works fairly simply. You can use the furniture lifter to lift each corner of your heavy item and place the slide underneath.  The furniture lifter is like a lever or a crowbar, specifically designed for furniture.  The lifter will not work for every single item you may want to move, but it will help you with many things.  Whether or not it will work depends on how much clearance you have underneath the item. You will nudge it underneath the furniture edge and press the handle down.  The furniture will then lift up, and you can slide the moving pads under each corner of the piece.

The pads are convex, foam-topped plastic, meaning that there are no sharp edges to snag the flooring. This will allow your item to glide across the flooring surface with less effort. The foam topping allows the furniture piece to sink down into the pad, and helps the pads stay in place as you move the item. After you place the pads at all four corners of the piece, you can slide the furniture anywhere you need it to go.

This product would be helpful for so many people. Single people, the elderly, the disabled, or even those who have a bad back would benefit from using the EZ Moves system.  By having this product on hand, you do not have to call in favors from friends to simply clean behind the couch.  You can move all of your furniture on your own.

So many people now have large king-sized beds or enormous entertainment centers that are a hassle to move.  If one wants to paint, rearrange the furniture, or simply clean behind something, it will take at least two strong people to move such large items.  But, by using the EZ Moves furniture moving system, one person can do any of those chores much more easily.

Some people do have a few concerns, however.  Some have mentioned that the plastic pieces on the base of the pads may scratch wood floors. These folks simply removed the plastic base one that would use for moving items on carpeting, and just used the soft part underneath their furniture. Then they were able to simply slide their furniture without marring their floors.

Sometimes when people move furniture, they slip rags or bits of cardboard under the edges of their furniture to help it scoot across the floor. That is one alternative, but since this the EZ Moves furniture moving system is easily found for about 20 dollars at discount stores, it would be a handy product to have available.

We have always encountered and read about Magic Mesh over the internet, classified ads in newspapers and in the commercials on TV.  Somehow we get fascinated to get hold of this one for our house, RV or camper.  But before that, we have to get familiar on how this door really works and how it can help us live a comfortable life at home during summer.

Forever Lazy Review – How Effective Are They?

Forever Lazy is an interesting and unique fashion statement that may…or may not catch on.  At first glance, it can be easily confused with the ‘Snuggie’ that was marketed last year.  Unlike a Snuggie, the Forever Lazy is quite a bit more than a large patterned beach towel with sleeves.

Do you recall those one piece fleece pajamas one would buy for an infant?  Add pockets, a draw string hood, zipper and optional booties in an adult size – that is basically your Forever Lazy.  The features don’t quite stop there.  The designers of this garment actually added front and back hatches that can be unzipped so you don’t have to take the plush thing off in order to use the bathroom.

If that only put an odd smile on your face, then you haven’t seen the commercial yet.  After going to Youtube and doing a search for ‘Forever Lazy Commercial’ – which I recommend doing – it starts out like any other TV promotional advertisement.  About halfway through, it starts to get a little strange.  They only come in four colors.  People are starting to wear them outside at tailgate parties.  The benefits are delivered with a smooth voice as if being seen in these things are socially acceptable.  It’s when they get to the part where five people are sitting in a stadium to watch a game of some sort it gets hysterical.  “Uh oh, gotta go?  No worries.”  That’s when we get to see the zippered hatches for going potty in action.  It was here I almost hit the floor laughing.  I’m pretty positive that you’ll end up being forever lonely if you wear one.  Not that the product idea is bad, it actually sounds like a nice, cozy warm outfit.  It just makes everyone look like giant stuffed animals jumping around with goofy smiles on their faces.

If after seeing all the fuss and features of Forever Lazy and somehow, for some reason, you get the desire to spend money on this thing, you can pick it up online for the low cost of $29.99  This includes a second Forever Lazy free, so you’re actually getting a ‘buy one get one free’ deal.

The commercial does contradict the website offer.  Ordering it online only allows for three colors, not four as mentioned by the narrator.  The website for Forever Lazy states that it’s made of “100% Anti-Pill Polar Fleece” which would mean the fabric would let your skin breathe a little.  That’s actually a good thing, otherwise it might cook a person alive if the temperature rises above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

If anything, the Forever Lazy might be a good idea for inside your own home, but most certainly not out in public.  It’s just too strange to see adults parading around in full body fleece pajamas, no matter how many attachments and zippers one might see.  I’ll give their marketing team kudos though, for trying to set a new trend.  It was a good try.

A Look At Flex Seal Liquid Rubber Review

No matter where you are, you are going to run into leak and crack issues around your house, where a leak is going to cause the unwanted flow of water. This can occur anywhere from your rooftop to a pip under the kitchen sink. Often times, replacing and repairing the damaged equipment is extremely costly, not to mention you need to pay a considerable amount of money to have a professional just come out and inspect the situation. Some putties and tape help slow down the flow of water, but this is just temporary. If you are looking for a permanent seal to the issue, Flex Seal might be just what you are looking for. This is liquid rubber in a can, and after the initial application, it only takes a few minutes for the rubber to dry and block out the water from leaking out the crack.

Flex Seal comes in a can similar to a spray paint can. The product, when aimed at a crack or other issue in a roof, gutter or pip, grabs hold of the problem area, blocking out water from running out of the area. Of course, if the damaged area is larger than a small hole or crack, it is best to seek out professional help, as the issue is just going to grow. You can use Flex Seal to slow down and patch the problem area though, which buys you time to bring in someone to look at the situation.

One can of Flex Seal is able to to treat anywhere up to eight square feet, while the Jumbo sized can is able to treat up to 12 square feet, at most. In order to apply the Flex Seal to the designated area, hold the can roughly a foot away from the damaged area, then spray a large covering over the crack. You want to expand the coverage area to prevent the liquid rubber from peeling off. On top of this, you should apply several coats of the Flex Seal. Flex Seal typically dries without the first three hours, although if you live in an area with high humidity, it might take close to 24 hours to completely dry.

Flex Seal only comes in a black color, although it is possible to paint over the rubber once it has dried. Flex Seal should only be used with light water areas as the material is not designed to protect against heavy pressurized areas, nor with drinking water or gasoline. If you are not sure of what to use the Flex Seal product with, check the entire list of items Flex Seal is not designed for (this information comes packaged with the Flex Seal when you purchased the product.

Flex Seal is currently not available in stores (although that can always change). As of this time, it is only available for purchase online, at $20 for a single can, although you to receive a second can for “free,” although they charge you an additional $10 for processing, plus the shipping and handling.
